Chlorine is the most widely used water disinfectant. It is more suitable for longer term use than iodine and is economical to use. Chlorine will help prevent stomach upsets and intestinal disorders caused by drinking bacteriological contaminated water. As well as for treating drinking water, chlorine can be used to disinfect water for cleaning teeth and for washing fruit and vegetables.Once Chlorine has been used, the Neutralising Tablets effectively remove the taste & smell of the Chlorine from the treated water. This makes the water more palatable for consumption. This pack will treat up to 48 litres of water.
